Take I-5 to Exit #200. Turn east on 88th Street NE. Follow approximately 1 mile and turn left on 51st Ave. NE. Follow to the roundabout and turn right on 108th Street NE. School is .5 miles on the left.

V.  Admission:

NW District All Classification Supervisory passes will be accepted. (green back pass only)

Cheer Squads of schools participating in the matches will be admitted in their uniforms.

A pass list from each school should be given upon arrival to the tournament director. The pass list should include the names of the players (12 maximum) coaches, support personnel, School Board Members/ Supt. The total list not to exceed 27 positions.

Supervisors should be using the NW District All Classification Supervisory green backed Pass

Bands must notify the tournament director.

 

VI.  Officials:

The officials association that services each of the respective WESCO schools will be responsible for selecting and assigning officials, for the MPHS site.  The number of officials from each association shall be assigned based upon the ratio of schools served by each association.

Lines people will be assigned by the officials association. (Snohomish County)

bullet

Scorekeepers will be provided by the host school.

 

VII.  Awards Policy:

A team trophy will be presented to the first place finisher.  There will be a short presentation ceremony at the conclusion of the championship game.

VIII.  General Information:

Volleyballs:

The host school will be responsible for furnishing approved game balls.

 Pre-match warm up
bullet

The warm up time will be 8-8-2.

bullet

On Saturday the gym will open at 9:00 am

bullet

Opening ceremonies: 
bullet

For the first match, the entire roster of both teams will be introduced.

bullet

The teams are to line up in front of their respective bench. 

bullet

As names are read, each player is to take one step forward and remain standing.

bullet

The starters are to be introduced last and as their names are called they are to run to the end line of the nearest court.  Alternate & shake hands.

bullet

After all teams are introduced the announcer will lead the fans and players in the pledge of allegiance, or national anthem.

bullet

Team bench: The bench area is to be restricted to the 12 players, coaches and managers.

bullet

Concessions and Souvenir T-Shirts will be available.

 

IX.  Sportsmanship:

Positive signs and school banners will be permitted.

bullet

Artificial noisemakers will not be permitted.

 

X.  Rules and Eligibility Policies:

Each participating team must turn in to the tournament director a team roster and a WIAA eligibility form by Wednesday, October 24, with the 12 members who will participate in the tournament.

Changes may be made any time prior to the first match of the tournament. 

bullet

Thereafter, they will be permitted only for illness or injury.

 

XI.  Parking:

Buses will park in the south stadium parking lot adjacent to the tennis courts. 

bullet

Spectators may park in the remaining 4 lots on campus.

 

XII.  Locker Rooms:

 

bullet

Girls’ large locker rooms will be available for use all day, no locks, no supervision and athletes are to provide their own towels.
